Strengths: It seems well built and solid. Pretty flat response.

Weaknesses: no 10db roll-off, no on off switch

Review: I use this with an ART mono preamp to record my classical guitar. My only regret so far is that I didn't get another microphone for some stereo ambience. The recordings come out clean and uncolored and compared to the ones I've listened to on the net the AT 2020 acquits itself very well against units often costing twice as much. Strengths: no surprises...you know what you're getting...great quality!

Weaknesses: none that I can think of

Review: I bought this microphone to put inside a grand piano on live gigs...this is a classic mic. and nobody can argue with the track record of this baby...sound is very clean and clear...be careful about some fakes out there...make sure you get the real thing...I'm loving this microphone and wouldn't hesitate to order another or recommend it! Two thumbs up! ...just so you know, the SM57-LC...
