Strengths: Works great and easy to set up and use. Would have given 5tars but its very rare for any product to be perfect so 4 stars is all.
Weaknesses:  Needing the computer on to make a receive calls sucks. If you could hook it up directly to your broadband modem it would be the best device out there.
Review: Would be better If you could have it running completely in the background in Mac OS 10.6. When you switch user account "fast user switching" it would continue to run without any restart or reset of the device. And when somebody call only the caller ID shows up on the screen and not the entire Magic jack program.

Strengths: Works with Yahoo messenger call in/out. Can't beat $2.99 unlimited call in price.
Weaknesses: No features whatsoever. No list, no call waiting, no way to listen to messages, etc...
Review:  Requires special setup for mic/speakers audio driver. Need to change driver in preferences/call in order to listen thru computer speakers. Perfect as temporary setup when you don't want to get a regular phone account just for a few weeks or months. Requires computer to stay on all the time though to receive calls. Review: I have used this device to make calls using Skype VOIP service. I have also tried other USB phones for the same purpose, but this enables you to be free to make a call using regular phone set. The quality of voice is good. If Skype continues free calls next year to landlines in US and Canada, it will be money well spent.
